What if I can't attend a lesson?

We understand that life happens. Here's our attendance policy:Give us more than 72 hours' notice — we will work with you to reschedule the lesson.Less than 72 hours' notice — a medical certificate (MC) is required for the lesson to be eligible for make-up.No notice and no MC — the lesson will be forfeited.We appreciate you letting us know as early as possible — it helps us plan for your coach and court time!

Can I share my lesson package or subscription with a friend or family member?

No. All lesson packages and subscriptions are non-transferable and designed for individual use. This policy exists to support regular attendance and allow us to plan and personalise your coaching programme effectively. Sharing a package would disrupt your progression and make it difficult for our coaches to programme lessons that are right for you.That said, you're more than welcome to sign up together! We'd love to have your friends and family on court.

Will I have the same coach throughout my private lesson programme?

Yes, wherever possible, we will assign the same coach throughout your private lesson programme to ensure continuity and help build a strong coach-player relationship.If your regular coach is unavailable due to scheduling or unforeseen circumstances, we will arrange a replacement coach where possible. Our coaches communicate with one another and share lesson progress so your programme can continue smoothly with minimal disruption. In the event that we are unable to secure a suitable replacement, the lesson will be cancelled. Rest assured, every Performance Pickleball coach follows the same coaching methodology, curriculum, and lesson standards. Our coaching system is designed around the Performance Pickleball methodology—not any individual coach—ensuring every session is delivered with a consistent, high-quality experience. Our curriculum is regularly reviewed and updated, and all coaches receive ongoing training to stay aligned with the latest coaching standards.⚠ Please note:  It is your responsibility to ensure your WhatsApp number in the app profile is correct and reachable. This is our primary channel for lesson updates. During busy periods, our team is managing many moving parts and can only contact the number saved in your app — we are not able to scroll back through old chats to verify details. What's the weather policy?

1. How do we handle bad weather?About an hour before the lesson, we will check in on weather to confirm if we can proceed. That said, as we all know, the weather is beyond anyone’s control. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or weather disruptions, the following cancellation policies will apply:If the class/lesson is cut short and cannot resume:⏱ <50% of the session completed → 🟡 50% of the session is counted⏱ > 50% of the session completed → 🔴 Session is counted in fullLikewise, if a class/lesson is paused due to rain but resumes:⏸ Pause 50-100% of the session (i.e. 0–50% of the session completed) → 🟡 50% of the session is counted⏸ Pause <50% of the session (i.e. >50% of the session completed) → 🔴 Session is counted in full👉 Please wait for our update — We kindly ask that you avoid messaging us several hours in advance, as this makes it harder for us to manage real-time conditions effectively.2. What if it starts raining during my session?If rain begins mid-session, the rain policy will apply.3. Can I cancel my class in advance if it’s been raining all day?We evaluate conditions hourly, not by the day.For example, if your lesson is at 8 PM, we will decide at around 7 PM.✅ Important:It is the enrollee’s responsibility to ensure that the phone number in your app profile is correct and reachable via WhatsApp. This is how we will contact you for any updates, including weather advisories or cancellations. What makes Performance Pickleball (Boathouse) truly special is its soaring 30-metre-high ceiling and open-sided design, allowing for fresh air, excellent ventilation, and natural light—creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere for play. That’s why we proudly brand ourselves as 90% weather-proof—our unique setup handles most weather conditions with ease. On the rare occasion of strong winds and heavy downpour, light drizzle may drift in, but play / lessons typically continue without disruption. In the rare 10% instance where rain does come in to the extent that the coach / staff deems the court unplayable or unsafe, the same rain policy will apply.Weather Contingency for Beach Club LessonsPlease note that at our Beach Club location, weather conditions can occasionally be unpredictable. In the event of rain, we may secure Changi Beach Club’s badminton courts. While it is an additional cost to us, we do so to minimise cancellations, avoid wasted trips, and ensure program continuity and player progress. The use of the badminton court is subject to availability, as it is not part of our facility and cannot be guaranteed. By enrolling in or attending Beach Club group or private lessons, you acknowledge and agree that:If it rains and we are able to secure the badminton court, the class or lesson will proceed there instead of being cancelled or rescheduled.If the badminton court is not available, our regular rain policy will apply.We appreciate your understanding as we make these arrangements in good faith to deliver consistency and value to your training experience.

The Subscription is ideal for players who prefer a regular routine and want to make steady, measurable progress in their pickleball journey without paying full upfront. It's our best option if you're looking for consistency, accountability, and long-term improvement.Here's how it works:$600 per cycle (4 lessons)Billed automatically every 4 lessonsSame day and time every week, where possibleMinimum commitment: 3 cycles (12 lessons) Please note that early termination before completing 3 cycles will still be charged for the full minimum 3-cycle commitment.When am I billed?Payment for your first cycle is required upon confirmation. Subsequent cycles are automatically billed 1 week before each new cycle begins.Can I pause my subscription?We understand that work, travel and personal commitments come up. Just let us know at least 72 hours before your lesson and we can reschedule the lesson, bank the lesson (and use it when your schedule frees up) or pause your subscription (max 2 weeks paused per 3 cycles)For cancellations made within 72 hours, the lesson will be deducted unless a valid medical certificate (MC) is provided.Note that subscription is only available at Performance Pickleball venues. For islandwide private lessons, please purchase a package instead!
