Performance Pickleball Membership Terms and Conditions

Acceptance of Terms:
By booking a court, event, lesson, program, or workshop with Performance Pickleball, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions.
​
Usage Responsibility
Court usage are the sole responsibility of the individual or entity making the reservation ("Club User/Hirer"). The Club User/Hirer must ensure that all participants using the court are aware of and comply with these terms and conditions.

Facility Usage & Membership Policy

Our facility is for members only. All court users must have an active account on our Performance Pickleball app. Not to worry, we have a free membership tier.

It is the Club User/Hirer responsibility to ensure all players have a valid membership before their session and agree to our membership terms and conditions.

All players are to check in with their membership QR code before entering and using the facility.

Courts are bookable as per app schedule. To check real-time availability and book your slot, use our app. No walk-ins allowed.

Booking Rates & Cancellations
The Club User/Hirer agrees to the listed booking / program rates and will adhere strictly to the Court Booking Time and Allocation. Should the Club User/Hirer be found using a court outside their booking time and allocation, they will be charged the full hourly rate of the unbooked court. Cancellation Policy is as per stated on our app / court booking page.

Safety and Usage Regulations

Respect Booking Times:

While we strive to open the facility early as a courtesy, treat this as a courtesy, not an expectation. Do not attempt to open locked doors or enter through unauthorized areas.

Entry to the courts is allowed only during your booked time. Members must vacate the courts promptly at the end of their session, even if no one is scheduled immediately before or after.

Courts that appear unoccupied are not available for use unless explicitly booked. Strictly no walk-ins.

If anyone is seen using the courts outside their booking time, a formal warning will be issued and court usage will be prorated and charged accordingly. Repeat offenses (more than twice) may result in a suspension or ban from the club.
Player Limits:

Each court booking covers up to 8 players.
-
Only 4 players are allowed on the court at any given time. Additional players must remain in the designated waiting area or lounge.

For more than 8 players, an additional fee of $10 per person per hour applies. This can be paid during booking.
Strictly No Outside Coaching:

Outside coaching is strictly prohibited unless pre-approved by management. Failure to comply may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund and an additional penalty fee.
Noise Policy:

Keep the volume low after 10 PM.
Strictly No Food and Drinks Consumption:

Our courts feature high-quality professional hard-court pickleball flooring. To maintain cleanliness and prevent costly damage, consumption of food and drinks is strictly prohibited for regular court booking except water and 100 Plus Zero.

Non-compliance will result in a fine of $50.

Events with food and drinks must be booked as private events through our corporate/event booking service. Separate guidelines for food and beverage arrangements will be provided for private events.
Any property damage will be chargeable.

Strictly No Hitting Against any Walls.

Rented paddles must be returned in the same condition as when rented, except for normal wear and tear. Significant damage, such as cracks or deep scratches, will incur repair or replacement fees as assessed by staff.

Balls that are hit up and stuck on the ledge are non-retrievable as per rules by Marina Country Club management for safety concerns. Do not attempt to retrieve it.

All players must wear proper non-marking court shoes. Sandals, FitFlops, or any non-sports footwear are strictly prohibited for safety reasons. Our courts are professionally surfaced and require appropriate footwear to maintain their quality and prevent damage. We understand that some players may not have such shoes; however, all footwear must not leave marks, scuff, or stain the court. If shoes are found to be causing damage, players must stop play immediately to prevent further harm. Any damage caused to the courts due to improper footwear will be chargeable to the responsible party.
Strictly No Usage of Basketball Court:

The basketball court is not our property. It requires booking for use and unauthorized usage counts as trespassing.

Any Rudeness to Staff Will Result in a Ban:

Rudeness towards staff will not be tolerated, and violators will be banned.
Speakers Are Only for Staff Use

The speaker system is reserved exclusively for staff operations to ensure a consistent environment for all guests.
Personal connections to the speakers are not permitted, except for corporate or private events that have opted for speaker and microphone rental in advance.

The facility is 90% weather-proof:

By booking or entering Performance Pickleball, you acknowledge and accept that while our open-sided, 30-metre-high-ceiling facility is approximately 90% weather-proof and designed for excellent ventilation and play in most conditions, rare instances of strong wind or heavy rain may cause a light mist to drift in. Play usually continues uninterrupted, but if weather conditions render the courts unplayable, our Rain Policy will apply depending on the type of booking (court rental, lesson, etc.), as outlined on our website. All players participate at their own risk, and Performance Pickleball shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, or losses incurred on the premises.

Performance Pickleball Waiver & Release Agreement
In consideration of being allowed to participate in any way in the pickleball activities and programs at Performance Pickleball, I agree to the following:

Assumption of Risk: I understand and acknowledge that there are inherent risks associated with pickleball and tennis, including but not limited to the risk of serious bodily injury or death. I voluntarily assume full responsibility for any risks of loss, property damage, or personal injury, including death, that may be sustained by me as a result of participating in any activities at the facility.

Release of Liability: I hereby release, waive, discharge, and covenant not to sue Performance Pickleball, its owners, employees, agents, volunteers, or any other representatives (hereinafter referred to as "Releasees") from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me or to any property belonging to me while participating in any activity at the facility.

Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Releasees from any loss, liability, damage, or cost, including attorney fees, that they may incur due to my participation in any activity at the facility, whether caused by the negligence of the Releasees or otherwise.

Medical Treatment: I authorize the facility and its staff to provide or arrange for any necessary medical treatment for me in the event of any injury or illness while participating in activities at the facility.

Photographic Release: I grant permission to Performance Pickleball to use photographs and/or video recordings of me for promotional purposes, including but not limited to website, social media, and advertising materials.

Voluntary Participation: I acknowledge that I am participating voluntarily and that I have read and understood all of the terms of this agreement. I understand that I have the opportunity to seek independent legal advice before signing this agreement if I so desire.

Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore, without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law.

Severability: If any provision of this agreement is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Right of Refusal
Performance Pickleball reserves the right to refuse or cancel any court booking, event, lesson, or workshop at its discretion without liability if such booking violates these terms or poses a safety risk.
​
Governing Law
These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Singaporean courts.

By booking a court with Performance Pickleball, the Court Hirer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
Performance Pickleball reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time without prior notice.
