What began as a small sunglass company on the beaches of Maui in the 1980s has grown into the global eyewear brand Maui Jim is today. Founded on Ka‘anapali Beach, the brand set out to solve a simple need—protect eyes from intense glare and harmful UV while enhancing the island’s vibrant colors—leading to the creation of the revolutionary PolarizedPlus2 lens.
From an original collection of seven styles, Maui Jim has since expanded to over 125 sunglass styles, all polarized with 100% UVA and UVB protection, along with an extensive range of eyeglasses.
