Our founders boast impressive tennis achievements: with Jeremy being 1 of only 6 ATP GPTCA Tennis coaches in Singapore, personally PTR certified by Emma Wells, ITF certified, USTA certified – among other accomplishments! He was SMU’s official varsity coach and brought the team to a gold medal. Likewise, Jeovanne is not a force to be reckoned with. She has been a dominant tennis champion since she was a child, winning every Singapore tennis tournament in sight – U10 at the age of 9, U12 at the age of 10, U14 at the age of 11 and U16 at the age of 12. She started coaching tennis at just 15 years of age and is also PTR, ITF, USTA certified! Together, they were also Singapore Open champions!
At the core of their journey lies family. From a young age, our founders hustled hard, driven by a deep desire to give back to their families. This motivation was what led Jeremy and Jeovanne to start coaching tennis at a very young age to begin with, using their passion for sports to support their loved ones. Inspired by this same drive, they later sought out a new sport to keep their mums active and engaged, which led them to pickleball—a game that not only captured their hearts but also became a shared passion within their family, paving the way for their next chapter.
The merging of their energy and talent eventually made way for their dominance in Pickleball, being ranked #1 in Singapore in all 6 categories in the Pickleball Global rankings, being among the top players in Asia, being 2 of only 4 Pickleball Global Level 2 certified coaches in the world and eventually, the birth of Performance Pickleball – and the passion behind it shows. Their deep commitment to making space for a fervent pickleball community of more than 5000 members in Singapore has led to international recognition of their efforts; having been featured on The Business Times, Pickleball News Asia, South China Morning Post, Tatler, Herworld.
